Fetal Heart Rate Monitor App for New Apple Watch
Mothers can monitor their baby’s heart rate using the new Apple Watch, the company announced last week. Sense4Baby, a compact home monitoring kit already used by 3.5 million Americans, was purchased by AirStrip Technologies, which creates patient monitoring apps compatible with Apple, Android and Windows devices. In addition to fetal heart rate, Sense4Baby monitors the mother’s heart rate and contractions, all three of which can be streamed live straight on their physician’s wrist.
