Left lane hog partly to blame in Coquihalla Highway crash, court rules
“A BC Supreme Court judge has ruled a slow driver in the passing lane contributed to a major crash on the Coquihalla Highway.” — Janet Brown, CKNW
CKNW and AM 730 reported on a recent BC Supreme Court decision (Oct. 21) to hold the driver of a slow-moving camper 10% liable for a major motor vehicle collision that occurred on the Coquihalla Highway in 2011. The camper was driving in the left-most lane 25 to 30 kilometres under the posted speed limit. Four vehicles were involved in the crash, which was caused primarily (90%) by an aggressive driver.
