Hang gliding certifier defends safety standards
Ian Mulgrew, Vancouver Sun columnist, looks into the safety regulations of the Hang Gliding and Paragliding Association of Canada (HPAC). Associations offer leisure rides to the public without any regulatory body overseeing the quality of service. Lawyer Don Renaud has filed an action against HPAC in Supreme Court of BC for the wrongful death of Godinez Avila.
